In Monterubbiano (ten kilometers from the sea and at 465 meters above sea level),
in 1940 Mr. Silvestro Abbruzzetti decided to buy an oil mill alongside the already known farm.
He undertook this new activity limited to the production of a genuine oil
for his own use and for some privileged friends.
A lot has changed since then.
The Abbruzzetti family, always farmers and lovers of the land and its products,
has transformed what was an ancient family tradition into a passion to share with those
who love and appreciate the flavors and scents of the past.
In the last thirty years the oil mill is managed by the grandchildren Silvio and Loriana,
supported by the daughter-in-law Mariapia, who directly take care of the management
by carrying out this activity with so much passion and competence,
attending courses for professional tasters and panel leader, refresher courses,
and constantly following the evolution of the sector.
Over time, the Abbruzzetti farm has expanded its offer: Silvio and Mariapia have made
multifunctionality the strong point focusing on catering activities (FarmHouse)
and hospitality (AgriCamping).
The farm in Fermo, from the top of the hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea
enjoying an incomparable view,
offers its wide spaces to welcome customers from all over the world.
The mill is equipped with 2 milling plants. The traditional one is of the press type that has been completely renovated over the years and the new continuous cycle system represents the best technologically possible.
Particular attention was paid to the storage of the oil: stainless steel tanks equipped with a nitrogen system (inert gas that prevents oxidation) are inserted in the room at a controlled temperature.
Our vision of agriculture is multifunctional,
in fact we believe that it must be integrated with tourism and catering activities, this gives us the opportunity to make the most of a territory like ours, rich in history, archeology, culinary traditions, and much more. .
In our farmhouse you will not find the starred chef,
but without any doubt you will eat well. Ours is a family-run business where traditional Marche dishes are served to be enjoyed with tranquility on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
The activity of our company is also aimed at the cultivation of local fruit and vegetables at km 0, with vegetables, legumes, cereals, wheat, corn and fruit.
We serve our customers our seasonal products, all grown in the open field. Not only fruit and vegetables but we also raise poultry and excellent quality EVO oil.
Less than a kilometer from the sea is the AgriCampeggio Abbruzzetti, in a hilly area partly arranged in terraces and with a wide panoramic view that goes from the sea to the Sibillini. Our AgriCampeggio is perfect for those who live a traveling holiday offering its guests all the conformation of an exclusive area equipped with laundry area, bathrooms with hot water, swimming pool, covered barbecue area and last but not least with the possibility of tasting the typical products of our farm.
It is a place of peace and silence, a comfortable base for those who want to combine a visit to the cities of the Marche with a walk in the Sibillini Mountains or perhaps a day at the beach.
